As another tumultuous year in the Qwertyverse reels to a close, some major changes are ahead, and a major backlog of submissions lurks in our Submittable pile… yikes.
In the interest of responding to this overflow of lovely, and sadly neglected entries, Qwerty will be closing submissions for a short catch-up period over the summer. If you have submitted over the past year: apologies for the delay! you’ll hear back from us so soon! If you’ve been dreaming of submitting to Qwerty: you still have a chance! The submission period for issue 35 closes April 30th, 2016.
Two things to keep in mind:
- Qwerty no longer accepts mailed submissions (if you have sent a mail submission over the past year, we will respond to it if it arrived before January, 2016. Query us if you’re not sure!).
- Our submission guidelines remain as ever. You can find us on Submittable here!
A new reading period will reopen for issue 36 at a date to be determined by our incoming editors for the 2016-2017 cycle. More on this soon!
