Qwerty Reads: Jeramy Dodds

For the final chapter of Qwerty Reads at the Wilser’s Room this school year, we are happy to have Jeramy Dodds as our featured reader.

The night will be opening with Qwerty’s band of choice: The 1947 Kitchen Party Disaster. (Featuring Henry Adam Svec, Mark Anthony Jarman, Martin Ainsley, and Michael Jessome).

There will also be a set of readings from second year Creative Writing MA students (Greg Brown, Greg Everett, Andrew Ramos, “Michael Meagher” and Rebecca Salazar Leon)

Doors will open at 7pm; See everyone there!

Feature Reader Bio: Jeramy Dodds grew up in Orono, Ontario, Canada. He is the winner of the 2006 Bronwen Wallace Memorial Award and the 2007 CBC Literary Award for poetry. His first collection of poems, Crabwise to the Hounds, was shortlisted for the Griffin Poetry Prize and won the Trillium Book Award for poetry. He is a poetry editor at Coach House Books. His most recent publication is an English translation of the Poetic Edda. He is currently the Writer-in-Residence at the University of New Brunswick.
